In today's tech savvy world, marketing has evolved to use the new
technologically innovative ways to promote businesses and products. The
goal of any technology is to develop new ways to do things. These new
ways to do things are improvised by the time to make them easier, more
accessible and more affordable to the masses. Which means that things
that previously demanded huge amounts of money can now be done with much
less amount of money and time.
When
it comes to developing a brand identity, technology has provided the
masses with tools and innovative ways to promote their brand name and
products and compete effectively for the markets that were previously
dominated by resourceful large corporations. These large corporations
had the means to spend lots of money on developing their products and
even more money to spend on the marketing, brand development and design.
Just a decade ago it was not possible for small businesses that
developed similar products to compete with these giant corporations on
the equal grounds. Small businesses were not able to get a professional
graphic designer to design them stuff for their marketing needs. Even a
small business website design was expansive and not to mention the web
hosting cost and the costs involved with hiring staff to manage these
things. Even if some small businesses managed to spend this much money,
there was no guarantee that they would get any results out of this.
